Wintershall and Seadrill have awarded a contract to Sekal for the installation of Sekal’s automatic drilling control system, DrillTronics, onboard the brand new deep water, harsh environment semi-submersible drilling rig West Mira constructed by Hyundai Heavy Industries in Korea. The rig has departed Korea and shall operate for Wintershall on a long drilling campaign from autumn 2019, including the drilling campaign on the Nova field in 2020. Please see links attached hereto.

Wintershall takes West Mira drilling rig on a six-well contract
DrillScene technologies have on more than 180 wells and DrillTronics on multiple wells on both Statfjord C and Songa Enabler for Equinor has proven its automatic drilling control technology as a significant contributor to deliver operational excellence.
