The service companies fight to provide the most cost effective solutions. With excellent results from Statfjord C, Sekal is now ready to roll out DrillTronics to the masses.

– Even in a downturn we are extremely optimistic. There is great interest in the technology, however investment requires significant effort, says Sveinung Lofthus, CEO Sekal.

Saudi Aramco is the largest owner of Sekal. At this year’s ONS, the oil & gas giant is hosting Sekal on their booth. In the myriad of technology companies, the fight is on to capture the attention of the oil companies. The message that I hear from the oil companies, makes me convinced; the time for automation is now, says Lofthus.
